Description

On this tour we will visit the famous Maras salt mines, located in the Sacred Valley, just 50 kilometers from Cusco; the distance between the Maras salt mines and the archaeological site of Moray is only 7 kilometers. We will then have lunch in Urubamba, and then visit Ollantaytambo and the town of Pisac, famous for its beautiful crafts and its archaeological center.

MACHU PICCHU FULL DAY
  • 03:30 / 04:10 hrs: Pick up from the hotel, then we will transfer you by tourist transport to the train station.
  • 06:10 hrs: Boarding from the Ollantaytambo station to the town of Aguas Calientes.
  • 07:50 hrs: Arrival at the Aguas Calientes station, where our transfer/guide will be waiting. Afterwards, you will board the bus, which will take you on a 30-minute ride up a zigzag path to the incredible Machu Picchu, known as “The Lost City of the Incas”.
  • 09:00 hrs: Guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the royal quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows. Approximately 2 and a half hours.
  • 11:30 hrs: Free time to explore the citadel in your own way, walk around and take photos.
  • 13:00 hrs: Recommended time to return to the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
  • 14:45 hrs: Free time for lunch (included), enjoy the town, visit the local medicinal hot springs or its craft fair.
  • 17:50 hrs: Time to arrive at the train station.
  • 18:20 hrs: Departure of the train towards the town of Ollantaytambo.
  • 20:05 / 20:20 hrs: Arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will transfer you by bus to Cusco.
  • 22:30 hrs: Arrival in the city of Cusco.
