The Inca Jungle Trek lasts 4 days and 3 nights. This alternative route to Machu Picchu mixes adventure sports such as cycling and hiking, and will travel through jungle and mountainous regions. To take this tour you do not need an Inca Trail permit.
More...Day 01: Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria
This day begins with a bike ride down to the village of Santa Maria, along an impressive road that has been the setting for films such as “Transformers”. We will end the day with the option of doing an intermediate to easy rafting trip.
Day 02: Santa Maria – Pasto Grande – La Sirena Water Fall – Cocalmayo Hot Spring – Santa Teresa
This day we will go into the jungle and walk along beautiful trails, we will see plantations, flora, fauna and waterfalls until we reach Santa Teresa where we will rest in the hot springs of Cocalmayo.
Day 03: Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes
On the third day we have the option of doing more adventure activities, we are talking about the zip line that has several steps, one of them 1 km long.
Day 04: Hot Springs – Machu Picchu – Hot Springs – Cusco
The most anticipated day for everyone, we will learn about and discover the secrets of this Inca citadel.
