Description

This 2-day tour of the Sacred Valley with connection to Machu Picchu will take you to see the most important archaeological sites of the Inca Empire such as Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and today considered one of the wonders of the world, the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.

DAY 1: CUSCO NIGHT IN AGUAS CALIENTES
  • 08:30 / 09:00 hrs: Pick up from your hotel, start of the tour we will go to the Ollantaytambo Station.
  • 11:15 hrs: Train bound for Aguas Calientes Station.
  • 13:00 hrs: We will head to the accommodation in Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu town
  • 14:00 hrs: You will have the afternoon free to visit the hot springs and get to know the town of Aguas Calientes.
DAY 2: MACHU PICCHU AND RETURN TO CUSCO
  • 07:50 hrs: You will board the bus, which will take you on a 30-minute ride up a zigzag path to the incredible Machu Picchu, known as “The Lost City of the Incas.”
  • 09:00 hrs: Guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the royal quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows. Approximately 2 and a half hours.
  • 11:30 hrs: Free time to explore the citadel in your own way, walk around and take photos.
  • 13:00 hrs: Recommended time to return to the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
  • 14:45 hrs: Free time for lunch (included), enjoy the town, visit the local medicinal hot springs or its craft fair.
  • 17:50 hrs: Time to arrive at the train station.
  • 18:20 hrs: Departure of the train towards the town of Ollantaytambo.
  • 20:05 / 20:20 hrs: Arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will transfer you by bus to Cusco.
  • 22:30 hrs: Arrival in the city of Cusco.
